Government Office Document Tracking System
About the project
Inspired by the everyday challenges of tracking physical documents in our office, I recognized the inefficiencies of relying on manual logbooks and follow-ups. These methods are not only time-consuming but also prone to errors. My goal was to create a simple system that reflects the actual flow of documents in the office while enhancing accountability and visibility. Our platform functions as an automated logbook, recording the creation, routing, receipt, and movement of office documents across various divisions. It provides real-time tracking of who handled each document, when actions were taken, and its current location. This solution aids offices in reducing lost or delayed papers and improves coordination, all without disrupting existing paper-based workflows. Currently, the platform is actively being utilized within our department, with plans for broader deployment. My biggest 'wow' moment during this process was seeing the platform bring my vision to life effortlessly—especially as someone without a technical background.
