I run a staffing company that collaborates with healthcare and education organizations, and a significant operational bottleneck we often encountered was credentialing and onboarding. Each new hire required chasing documents, sending reminders, checking expiration dates, and manually verifying compliance. The constant back-and-forth communication among recruiters, candidates, and compliance teams often led to things slipping through the cracks. To address these challenges, I built VerifAI, a system designed to automate the collection of documents, track credentials, and provide real-time updates on when someone is cleared to work—eliminating the endless email chains and spreadsheets. Rather than assembling a traditional software team, I chose to develop the platform directly with Floot, allowing for rapid progress and a laser focus on solving actual workflow problems. VerifAI automates the credentialing and onboarding process for staffing teams, handling what used to be a manual and tedious workflow. It offers features such as: • Automated document requests and reminders • Organization of candidate credentials • Tracking of expirations and compliance requirements • Automated validation checks on documents • Clear visibility for recruiters and compliance teams on who is ready to deploy and any reasons for status delays The goal is straightforward: to eliminate the manual back-and-forth so staffing teams can focus on placing candidates rather than chasing paperwork. Since implementing VerifAI within our own staffing operations, we've already seen an immediate impact. Processes that previously required multiple emails, spreadsheets, and manual follow-ups have now been automated into a single workflow. Recruiters can instantly access candidate readiness and compliance statuses without the hassle of sifting through documents. We are currently expanding the platform and initiating discussions with other staffing organizations facing similar onboarding and credential tracking challenges. My biggest 'wow' moment while building on Floot has been the speed at which complex software can be created and improved. Instead of waiting weeks or months for engineering cycles, we were able to design, test, and enhance workflows almost immediately. Features that usually require an entire development team, such as automated compliance rules and candidate readiness tracking, were implemented swiftly and refined continuously. Floot has enabled us to transition from idea to working product and real-world use far more quickly than traditional development methods would allow.
