About the project
Root Reserve was born from my personal journey through burnout, anxiety, and a disconnect from my body's natural rhythms. My studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) revealed a framework focused on balance, daily rhythm, and the interplay between mind, body, and environment, which I found to be grounding and practical. This inspired me to create an accessible educational platform that translates ancient TCM principles into modern, everyday practices. Root Reserve serves as a wellness platform that guides users through foundational TCM concepts, such as balance, rhythm, and grounding, and helps them implement these ideas through simple daily routines, habit-building, reflection, and mindfulness practices. Our goal is to make ancient health wisdom practical for contemporary life, aiding in nervous system regulation, fostering self-awareness, and promoting sustainable daily routines. Plus, it’s designed to be enjoyable! As an early-stage educational project currently in development, I am refining the core learning experience and actively gathering feedback from initial users and peers interested in TCM-informed wellness. The early responses have been encouraging, highlighting the clarity and accessibility of our educational approach, which I'm using to enhance both the content and user flow. One of the biggest surprises while building on Floot has been how quickly I could structure and present our educational content in a user-friendly and intuitive way. Floot has simplified the design of learning flows and allowed me to transform complex ideas into clear, digestible experiences without needing extensive technical expertise.
