My co-founder, who runs a sanitation engineering firm, used to spend hours every evening manually building pipe inspection reports in Word—painstakingly adding one photo and defect at a time. After a failed attempt to build a solution with external developers, I took matters into my own hands and built CamReport on Floot. The platform transforms the way plumbers and ITV technicians work by allowing them to drag and drop site photos, document defects using industry-standard forms, and generate professional PDF reports in minutes. Since launching in March 2026, we have helped users reduce their reporting time from hours to minutes. Transitioning from a failed external project to a live, revenue-generating SaaS on my own has completely changed how I approach product development.
