Medical Procedure Preparation and Guidance Platform

Inspired by a friend's recent experience with a health event in another country, I set out to create a solution for navigating the complexities of medical travel. She faced challenges in finding crucial information about the procedure, what to expect afterward, accommodation options, and even basic necessities like coffee or how far the medical facility was from the airport. My app addresses these challenges by allowing users to enter the country, city, state, or medical facility name along with the specific procedure. It then generates a comprehensive patient and family guide that users can review and download. This guide breaks down the timeline of events and explains what will happen during the procedure and how the patient may feel afterward, along with the support needed during recovery. Additionally, it includes a map for easy navigation, showing the distance from the airport and nearby accommodation options. While I haven’t yet tracked usage or shared the platform widely, the ease of deployment has been a major highlight for me while building on Floot.
