Learn how to connect your custom domain to your Floot app
Connect your own domain (like yourapp.com) to your Floot app to give it a professional, branded URL.
1
Add your domain in Floot
Go to your app's Publish tab in Floot
Click Add Custom Domain
Enter your domain name (e.g., yourapp.com)
2
Add DNS records to your domain
Floot will show you DNS records to add to your domain's DNS settings.
Make sure to add ALL DNS records shown by Floot.
Each record is required for your domain to work correctly.
Where to add these:
Log into your DNS provider (Namecheap, GoDaddy, Cloudflare, etc.)
Go to DNS settings and add the records exactly as shown in Floot
Important notes:
If using Cloudflare, turn OFF the proxy (orange cloud) for these records
Copy the values exactly as shown - they're case-sensitive
If you get an error because there's an existing record, delete it first before adding the Floot record
Delete all other 'A' records for the "@" domain before adding the one from Floot
3
Continue on Floot (do not skip this step!)
After adding the DNS records, click Continue in Floot
Floot will verify your DNS is set up correctly (may take up to 15 minutes)
Once verified, your domain will be added to your app
4
Your domain is live!
Once setup is complete:
Your app will be accessible at your custom domain
Both yourapp.com and www.yourapp.com will work
It can take up to 24 hours for your domain to work everywhere, although often it's much faster. This is normal and depends on your DNS provider. If it takes longer than this, contact our support for help.
